This is the listings page for reports on the earthquake and tsunami that were posted in the days and weeks after the quake. The purpose in keeping them online is, in part, so anyone who is interested can trace the coverage offered by the TerryReport. Of critical importance is the fact, one, that the government of Chile itself missreported the massive impact of the tsunami and American media then followed that lead and missed the story also for days. This led to very unfortunate delays in getting assistance to people in the countryside and delays in international relief and recovery assistance getting to Chile. Since the story has all but disappeared from the American media now (early April, 2010), there is very little updated information to provide. The TerryReport will endeavor to post additional information in the coming days. The buttons on the left on the subject of Chile appear once you have reached this page.
