We are drowning in technology. Ain’t this fun? I embrace all of it, hate some of it and spend a little time pondering what it is doing to us, instead of us doing to it. We are now creating generations of people who won’t be able to find their way around a city block without a GPS voice talking in their ear.
I don’t worry too much about technology. I am more concerned with finding new and perhaps great ways to use it and put it into service, both in my business and, perhaps, some grand way for “the world at large”.
It is clear, however, that now, in the second decade of the first phase of the giant technology wave that actually started to hit in the 1980s, that we are allowing technology to push us more than we push back. We are on the way to becoming “cyber beings”, in addition to humans. In any case, I post here once in awhile in tech developments and issues. Please come back.

One of the best, most lucid and well written American history books I have ever read. This is not merely history, it is the story of much of the creation of the American nation as it entered into a long, horrid conflict with the native peoples. Reading this, you will come to understand the battles between Indians and whites with more clarity than ever before. Personalities come alive and vivid writing carries you through. Out in quality paperback now.
