The truth is something we shall seldom know, but never stop seeking.

Editor and prime reporter is Doug Terry, a veteran television and radio reporter in   Washington, DC, (details below)

These photographs were posted on an independent community news site in the Bay area of California called indybay.org. They show an ex-Marine who served two tours in Iraq after he was hit in the head by a “police projectile” during the overnight efforts to clear the park in Oakland where Occupy protesters had set up camp. The projectile was most like a beanbag device fired by a rifle, since that was what police were using in addition to tear gas and physical force (hand to hand). While there have been arrests elsewhere in the Occupy movement, this is the first major injury, so far as we know.

this poor guy was right behind me when he was hit  in the head with a police projectile. he went down hard and did not get  up. the bright light in the second shot is from a flash-bang grenade  that went off a few feet from us. he looks like he might be a veteran.  he was eventually taken to highland hospital.

What in the world is this? Now, after being told a thousand times that al Queda and the war on terrorism is the struggle of our century, it looks like the organization is 3/4s or more dead and the rest is dying. DETAILS HERE.

One of the best, most lucid and well written American history books I have ever read. This is not merely history, it is the story of much of the creation of the American nation as it entered into a long, horrid conflict with the native peoples. Reading this, you will come to understand the battles between Indians and whites with more clarity than ever before. Personalities come alive and vivid writing carries you through. Out in quality paperback now.
