Editor and prime reporter is Doug Terry, a veteran television and radio reporter in   Washington, DC, (details below)

The TerryReport, working through the Haiti Coordination Group (NGO) which we established, is arranging for hand powered cell phone chargers to be shipped to Haiti. These are recently designed and available chargers, which were first displayed at the recent CES in Las Vegas in early January.

The chargers , once they are in Port au Prince, will be given away free to NGOs and relief workers generally. If there are any available after that, they will be offered to news media or others providing information on coordination efforts in Haiti.

More details will follow on these handheld, hand powered phone chargers. If the power remains off for a long time in Haiti, they could be in high demand for purchase, but the goal right now is to give them away to assist in the recovery effort.

These hand powered phone chargers are being donated by YoGen, the manufacturer. Their donation and transportation was coordinated by Brotman Winter Fried Communications of Falls Church, Va. Transport into Haiti is being facilitated by Digicel, the cell phone carrier.

What in the world is this? Now, after being told a thousand times that al Queda and the war on terrorism is the struggle of our century, it looks like the organization is 3/4s or more dead and the rest is dying. DETAILS HERE.

One of the best, most lucid and well written American history books I have ever read. This is not merely history, it is the story of much of the creation of the American nation as it entered into a long, horrid conflict with the native peoples. Reading this, you will come to understand the battles between Indians and whites with more clarity than ever before. Personalities come alive and vivid writing carries you through. Out in quality paperback now.
